Zac recently published that mites actively switch from one adult bee to feed, and showed dramatically lower survivorship when a single mite is placed in a group of bees. Mites are not going away and viruses play a bigger role in the impact that Varroa have on honeybee colonies.
Take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about how these viruses impact your bees and just how important it is for us all to be working toward better bees and better viral/mite resistance!
This is a free event with donations optional. All proceeds go toward beekeeper education, future speaker events, and further development and outreach efforts of the SBGMI.
Please only choose one delineation amount as multiples will create multiple registrations.
See you then!
